Zoo

We went to the zoo today. We have had some really nice weather the last couple of days, so we took advantage today and took a trip across town to the zoo. The boys did real well. We had a really good time with Rosa and Logan as well. Here are a couple of pictures of our trip. I will try to post more in the next couple of days.

As requested

So I know that some of you are going to get tired of the videos but the grandparents really seem to be enjoying them. Braxton also likes to watch himself on the computer over and over again. His favorite blogs to check are the ones with videos. He likes to watch them and then say - play that again mommy. Too cute.

The boys are really getting bigger. In these videos you can see some progression. Brazos is crawling all over the yard in one and walking in the next and they were taken about 4 days apart. He is finally decided that walking will be okay with him. He is really trying to scoot now. But when he needs to get away from big brother fast he drops and crawls as fast as he can.

Enjoy!! I am going to put some new pictures out later as well. Might be today and then again it might be tomorrow.

Back in Business

My new computer arrived on Monday and I have trying to catch up ever since. I am so thankful to have a new computer and I am learing all about Windows Vista. Thanks Andy for making sure everything is okay and that I can not destroy this one. We did buy the 3 year - spill proof warrenty on this one.

I do need some e-mail address from you. I had them all saved in my outlook and I can not get them back. I did get some of my inofrmation off the other computer (like my pictures) yea. But not my addresses. Please e-mail me at lyneil@aggienetwork.com and let me know what your e-mail is.

Also, I know you are tired about hearing about all my stuff, but Tupperware is having some really good sales this week. They end on Friday. If you are interested let me know and I will send you an e-mail with an attachment of all the specials.

Have a great day and I will post some pictures later.

Wanna Know What I did This Weekend?

Well, let me tell you. Women of Faith came to Des Moines and I (we) went. Lisa, Andrea and I went to a very uplifting WOF confrenece. I have heard a lot about it and have never been able to go, but after this weekend I will try not to miss another. It was so wonderful to see so many ladies gathered in one place with one thing on thier mind and that was to worship God.

The speakers were INCREDIBLE!!! They did a tremendous job. I am still playing some of the words, songs, and expressions over and over in my mind. It was great to spend time with my sister in Christ and to be uplifted at the same time.

I know that the confrence is headed your way over the next few months. Let me ecourage you to go and see how awesome it is to see 12,000 women gethered together to praise God.

Some of my favirties from the weekned were, Anita Renfroe, Nicole C Mullens, Shelia Walsh, and Patsy Clairmont. I will not tell you much other than that because some of you will be able to go and experience this for yourself and I do not want to spoil it for you. But it was amazing!!

The theme this year is Amazing Freedom and I will tell you that it is so wonderful to hear all the ways that we can be free. Free from sin, free from guilt, and free form ourselves. If you can I want to encourage you to attend you will be glad you did.

Easter Pictures

Here are some pictures I took of the boys at Easter. These were taken at the egg hunt at church. It was a very chili afternoon. It did not get above 40 that day. We had over 1,000 eggs for about 20 kids, needless to say they all made a hall. They boys did well and really had a great time.

I have more pictures of Easter morning and them opening their Easter Baskets but they are on Andrea's camera so I will have to post them later.

My new computer should be here next week. I am really excited to get a computer upstairs again. One good note is that the geek squad were able to get all of my pictures and files off of the other computer!!! Saved by the geek squad!!

I will try to post more pictures soon.
By the way if you have not seen the videos yet, take a look. I was so proud to figure it out. I hope to have more of those to post soon. I think the grandparents might enjoy them.

Braxton finding eggs

Are you ready to hunt eggs?

Braxton wanted to hunt with the big kids even though we had a separate place set up for the little ones. So we let him. He is such a big boy.

Pictures

We finally have had some good weather where we could get outside and play. Here are some random pictures of the boys playing outside yesterday. They have really enjoyed being about to get out. I have enjoyed it as well. I like that they can run out there and not tear anything up. Enjoy! More to come.

More coming soon

I know it has been a little while since I posted and I really do not have a lot to say now. The computer is still out of commission upstairs which means I do not get a lot of time to come down and check my e-mail and blog.

We are going to try and order a new computer today. I am excited and ready for it to get here already. We are planning on getting a 4 year warranty with with one that covers spills as well. I think for our house hold it will be a good investment. I took the computer to Best Buy on Friday to see if they can get my pictures off of it. I am really hoping at this point. I should know in the next couple of days.

It has been so long that I did not get to tell you that Eli (Ashley's son) was very sick. He ran over a 104 temp for over a week. They finally took him to Dallas and ran every test under the sun. They were released yesterday and told that he had some form of Mono?!!? Who knows.

Kanyon is doing better and getting really big!! If you have not checked in on him in a while - do it he is doing great. Thanks for the prayers and keep them coming!

I do have pictures to share but I don't have them down here so it will have to be later.

More to come soon!!!

News

Well first let me start by saying that I am way behind. It has been a very busy weekend with LTC and there is just a lot going on.

--------
Cousin Susan lost her Great-grandmother this week so please say a special pray for her and the family. It is just hard to deal with loss. The nice thing is to know that we have comfort in our relationship with God to know that eternal life awaits us!!!
--------
Our minister Colby's grandmother is very ill. She has 4 brain tumors, and lung cancer. While we were at LTC this weekend he got a call to say that is has not been awake since Friday morning. They are not expecting her to make it through the next 24 hours. They are on their way to Texas with some very tired kids and adults. Please pray for their safety, sanity, and peace.
----------
I fried another computer. I don't know if you remember but about 2 years ago I spilled milk on our laptop causing it to smoke, pop, and make a lot of other different noises. My kind loving husband was very kind to me and bought another one. Well as of Tuesday a repeat was in order. Brazos and Logan pulled a large glass of water onto the computer and once again I am fried another lap top. At this point I am having to go downstairs to use the computer and I am not checking in as much as I was. We are hoping to invest in another computer this week with the full spill proof protection.
----------
Cousin Kanyon is doing well. If you have not been out to the site in a while you need to go. He is eating well and growing. Thanks to all of you for your prayers for him and the family. Please continue to pray that he grows and for all of his little body parts.
----------
Papa came through his surgery well. He is home and doing great. We hope and pray that the progress will continue until he is up and running!! Thanks for all of your prayers for him.
----------
Easter was great and I have a lot of pictures to show you when I get my pictures down loaded. The boys did great and loved hunting eggs. They liked the gifts from the Easter bunny as well. We had a very busy but wonderful day.
I know there is so much more I need to tell you all but I am at a loss for now. I need to go see if I can find the floor in my living room and clean my kitchen. More to come!

Blessings

God is so good. I am so thankful that we have the avenue of prayer to talk to our Father when we need to. To take our petitions before Him and know that they are heard. I am so glad that He answers our prayers when we need them and not when we want them. I am glad to be His child. I am very undeserving of Him but ever grateful that I have Him in my life. Thank you God for being the ultimate Father.

Papa came through is surgery great. He is doing well and should be able to go home in a could of days. They worked on 4 disks in his back. They say they he should feel a lot better when the soreness is over.

Kanyon is doing well. What a blessing!!! He is eating, peeing, and pooping. I am so thankful that his digestive system is working and that things are going well. I continue to pray that his system will continue to grow and develop. I pray that his brain and other body parts will grow and develop as well.

Jaymie was told there might be a possibility that she could hold him today. I know she must be very excited.

Please continue to remember the Phillips Family in your prayers.

And last but not least are more pictures of my boys.

This and That

Please continue to pray for The Phillips Family. I know yesterday was a hard day. Please keep Kanyon in your prayers - he is doing well. Keep those prayers coming!!
-
Also, Papa is having surgery today on his back. Dr. Preston is hoping to relive some of his pain so that he can get around better. I know surgery gets harder each time and this will not be an easy ride. Papa is a trooper and will not complain at all.
