Decorating the Tree

This was the first Christmas at our new home in Texas. The boys were excited to help with the tree this year. They did a great job, of course we had quite a few decorations toward the bottom of the tree but that was fun too. They are really getting into the swing of Christmas and what they means for them!! I know the real "joy" will come for them later but for now they are finding plenty of joy in Christmas.

Merry Christmas little men!

We did the twelve days of Christmas with the boys where each boy had something to open the twelve days before Christmas so that the big day would not be so overwhelming. The boys and dad with day 1 presents in their hands. They were a little disappointed as it was another ornament for the tree. Each year they get a new one with their name and year on it. Maybe one day they will appreciate them, right now . . . not so much!
